Exciting club news that the Home and Garden show is proving to be our most profitable fund raiser. Congratulate everyone on the committee for their hard work in brining this together. We hope to see you Saturday or Sunday in your Rotary shirt. You can buy tickets on line in advance - spread the word.

Start clearing your calendar for Founder's Day. We do not need drivers, but need gatekeepers and people to assist customers. Debra Maddox is looking for sign-ups.

Finally, the card game netted $235 for winner Phil Hoggatt, who also just happened to bring 3 guests to the meeting. Congratulations Phil!

Colonel (USA Retired) Jeanne Arnold is a Principal and one of the founding members of Arnold & Schroeder, LLC., a strategic planning consulting and Red Team Training company. She is also a senior consultant with Red Team Thinking, LLC. She holds a Master of Education from Texas State University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business (EMBA ’14).

San Marcos Rotary Invest in Youth Event

he San Marcos Rotary Club is sponsoring an event on Saturday, March 17 called Invest in Youth. The purpose is to raise money for scholarships for San Marcos high school students. Highlights include casino games, wine tasting, catered food, and a silent auction. The event is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center at 501 E. Hopkins St. Tickets for the event are $35 and are available from Rotarians or at the door. For more information call 512-393-2005.
