Club Opportunities:

Burke Center needs your help.  The Horse Therapy program was started in 1974 to help boys build confidence in self control and relationships.  A donor gave $100K and 3 horses for the program.  The horse barn is in need of repair for the safety of the horses and the boys.  Tom Glass has met with Wendy Eichorn (wife of new member Frank) and they have put together a plan.

We need 5 or 6 volunteers on October 14 to make it happen.  You will need work gloves, safety glasses, long pants and boots.  Tom has most of the tools, but reach out to Tom if you have tools as well.   We will be using things like, Impact guns, saws, wheel barrows, and ladders to shore up the hay pulley, and doors.

If you are interested in volunteering for this project, please see Karlon and watch for the date and more details coming soon.  Cindy will reach out to our Interact group to see if we can get participation from them as well.
